Hi @anthonyjo
The answer is simple, Stripe recently revamped their partner directory and as such, partners have to re-submit their directory info. We just haven’t updated that info at this time. That doesn’t mean we’re aren’t a Verified Stripe Partner, which we very much are.
I’ll even get a team member from Stripe to comment on this review to prove it if that would make you feel more confident.
Kind Regards,
Thank you for your reaction. I have just been chatting with Stripe for an hour and even was put through to their specialized team, as they call it. I’m not here to post hate reviews, and I’m even using your (good) plugin on another website. Just want to get things clear and as far as I am concerned, Stripe has the final word on this. This topic definitely needs some official clarification.
@anthonyjo
I’ll post the link to the new partner directory once we’re added to it in a few days. In the meantime here is some additional info for you.
1. As you can see in our code, we have a Partner ID. You don’t get one of those unless you have been verified.
2. We have early access to Stripe beta features. You don’t get that unless you’re a trusted partner.
3. Stripe support is not the end all be all for information such as who is a partner or not. Stripe is a big company and it’s not surprising a random support agent wouldn’t know if we’re a partner or not.
4. If you still have doubts, you’re welcome to contact us and I’ll gladly show you additional proof that we are in fact a Stripe Verified Partner.
Once you’re convinced we are a Stripe Partner, I’d appreciate it if you edited the title of your review to prevent confusion.
Thanks,
Thank you very much, we are reassured and will be happy to be using this great plugin! Concerning nr 3 on your previous answer: we did not talk to just some support agent, we were talking with Stripe specialized team. But it’s all fine now and we’re happy that it’s back on the Stripe pages again.
