I had to stop using Akismet because we have links to a sale site and a “support us financially” feature on the website. I needed a replacement since paying for the upgraded Akismet isn’t an option. Disappointed in this apps inability to stop a lot of contact form spam. It proudly touts that it blocked 1 spam something, but I’ve received numerous spam submissions from the contact form. Something that I never had to deal with using Akismet. Almost makes paying for Akismet seem worth it.
No spam comments and so far no apparent attacks, so I guess it is doing enough. Fine app, just don’t expect miracles.
