Support » Plugin: WordPress Translation Plugin – Weglot Translate » Not a free plan – strange way of counting words

  • The free plan says up to 2000 words are free.
    When having the page translated it said, approx. 500 words translated. Now suddenly it says more than 2000 words, though there were no fundamental changes to the site.
    For a premium plan the plugin is far too expensive and the translations are not that accurate.

    Hi wordpressuser1974,

    We are so sorry for the negative experience you had. The word count going up is most likely due to the user visiting a page on your site that was not previously added to Weglot. We work progressively in adding the words to your site and not all in one shot. We do 100% offer a free plan for 1 translated language and 2,000 words.

    We use the best automatic translation providers out there and would be more than happy to help you out with this issue and any cost-related questions. As we cannot locate your Weglot account, can you send us a message to support@weglot.com to help you out?

    Thanks!
    The Weglot Team

    @remyb92 You do NOT have a free plan. What you have is a 10 day free trial. You really need to stop spreading misinformation. In fact, you should go back through all the posts where you’ve posted this lie and correct them.

    @macsuibhne
    Sorry to inform you that you are incorrect.
    https://weglot.com/pricing/ clearly states our plans, the free plan is one of them. The trial plan is separate from the free plan.

    If you have an unresolved issue, you can write us at support@weglot.com.

    I’m on your “Free” plan. When I log in to https://weglot.com/ it gives me a warning that my 10 day trial period has ended. It also asked me to upgrade. When I do that the only option is to pay €99.

    Can you tell me where the free plan is?
