Noob Can’t Figure Out How To Change “About this site” and “Find Us”

    I searched, and I know this is a stupid question but I’m afraid I have to ask it.

    I don’t know how to change the text just above the footer on the homepage. The default text is “About This Site – This may be a good place to introduce yourself and your site or include some credits.” and “Find Us Address 123 Main Street New York, NY 10001”.

    I am brand new to WordPress and Storefront.

    Hi there!

    Please try accessing the widget from Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Footer Widget 1

    You should be able to edit the About Widget from this section.

    Do not forget to save changes by clicking on Publish button once you finish editing the widget.

    Hi. Thank you for the reply.

    I had tried doing this, but when I click on widgets I get “Your theme has 6 widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.

    You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

    Ahh ok I got. (Just nav’d to the home page like it said – and then edit the widget).
