None Responding Page & Logging Out

Advice would be much appreciated on the following:
1) I have set up a Resister page with UM which works fine, however when I login as a new member, the members page would not respond in any way. I tried click on the ‘+’ adjacent the image, the image, the cogwheel and the options below, but no response.
2) I currently use metawidget for setting up my Registration, Login, Log out etc. The metawidget places these links at the top of the page (www.cycle2give.com). I want to replace these words with Register and Login using UM, which I want to hyperlink to the Register and Login pages which I have set up using UM. I assume this will work? However, what happens about the ‘Logout’ link at the top? At the moment the metawidget ensures that ‘Logout’ appears at the top when someone logs in?
