Non-styled text below posts on main page (4 posts)

    I have installed and activated the Appliance theme on a WordPress 3.5 fresh installation.
    The page with a single post looks good, with the dynamic footer (categories, meta, info..)

    However the home page shows some strange non styled widget below:

    Any idea why?

    seems to be a theme error when you use a widget without widget title.

    function appliance_widgets_init() {
    		// Footer Menu
    		register_sidebar( array(
    			'name' => __( 'Footer Widget Area', 'appliance' ),
    			'id' => 'primary-widget-area',
    			'description' => __( 'The footer widget area. Please note that you need to specify a title for each widget, in order for it to appear. In particular, you need to type in a title for the Search Widget. ', 'appliance' ),
    			'before_widget' => '',
    			'after_widget' => '</div>',
    			'before_title' => '<h2>',
    			'after_title' => '</h2><div class="content">',
    		) );

    there is an existing topic why wrapping the widget content in a div is problematic: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/add-html-wrapper-around-widget-content?replies=16

    Hi guys, I'm having a similar problem with my appliance theme on my new site: nailthataccent.com where the posts look good but underneath is a bunch of non sytled text that I want to get rid of or style. I'm new to wordpress and widget and especially HTML so any easy way to do this? Thanks so much! Lindsay

    @Elle-Vie, you probably want to upgrade WordPress first. Running old versions of WordPress is a high security risk.
