Support » Plugin: Force Login » Non standart port behind proxy

  • Similar to an old issue, that has a workaround in 2.1 https://wordpress.org/support/topic/infinite-loop-when-server-port-is-not-standard/

    If a site is behind a proxy (say port: 8080) AND has SSL enabled (port: 443), force login is redirected to 8080 if try to access via “standard”: 80.

    80 => redirect to > :443 => this plugin redirect to login with “redirect_to” set to :8080.

    My workaround was to manually add 8080 in the whitelist.

    $url .= in_array( $_SERVER['SERVER_PORT'],  ['80', '443', '8080'] )
    ? ''
    : ':' . $_SERVER['SERVER_PORT'];
