Hello! I’m trying to upload my first theme to WordPress.org, and my theme is nearly ready! My upload is only throwing one error which states that there’s a non-printable character in my header.php file. I’m assuming it’s a quotation mark or apostrophe that’s in the wrong format, but I can’t find it anywhere!

Is there a tool to find these non-printable characters?

    Thanks for any advice!

  • For anyone experiencing this same problem:

Install the Theme-Check plugin! I ran this plugin and it told me the exact line that the non-printable character was appearing on. Voila! The problem was easily solved!
