non-posing of posts

  • I’m having a problem with this idea.

    1) I want comments. I assume that requires a post and not a page. Is that correct?

    2) I want to link to certain (comment only) posts – without having those posts appear in the normal sequence of blog posts.

In other words: Can some posts be prevented from appearing as blog posts? If I set them as pages, that would work – but no comments are allowed on pages (or so I believe).

    Thanks

    Mark

    1. No – you can have comments on Pages as well as Posts.

    2. You can exclude certain posts from specific pages but they will be listed somewhere on the site unless you set them to be Private or keep them as Drafts.

    Thank you
