# “Non-numeric value” error message on posts

 * I recently noticed an error popping up on posts that belong to a series:
 * > Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in [address]organize-series/orgSeries-
   > template-tags.php on line 451
 * (also in line 460)
 * It may linked to a change in my template (Customizr) or to the move to WordPress
   5 (5.02 on my install).

 * No this is a bug in Organize Series that pops up in PHP 7.1+ environments. It’s
   already been reported (not exact same case as you but same root cause) [here](https://github.com/roughsmoothengine/organize-series/issues/61).
 * This shouldn’t be a breaking bug (yet) as it is just a warning. However, it is
   on my radar to fix.

 * This should be resolved in the latest version of Organize Series (2.5.12)
