Non-logged-in users cannot access posts

    Hi, I’m a starting WP user and creating a website for our local Photography Society. Members can log in for additional info, but most is meant for public use.
    Using Ultimate Member payed subscription for membership management.

    Created posts for public use. For logged-in user all works fine, but when not logged in I’m not seeing any post, but are redirected to the homepage.

    When logged in I see the URL as
    >> https://almeersefotoclub.com/test-nieuwtje/
    showing the post in detail

    When not logged in the URL shown is
    >> https://almeersefotoclub.com/?redirect_to=%2Ftest-nieuwtje%2F
    resulting in a redirect to the homepage again

    Can anyone give me a hint what’s going wrong? Is this an UM issue?

    Hi @terps001

    Have you made any changes to the UM Content Restriction settings in post or post categories? Could you please provide a screenshot of your UM Access settings? Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Access. You can use imgur.com to upload the screenshot and then share the Image URLs here so we can review them.

    I did not modify any access setting in UM as far as I’m aware

    Hi,

    Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

    Yes, found the conflicting plugin: “Restrict User Access” (! sounds logical !)
    Thx a lot for your suggestion, was new as I’m just a beginner…
    Need to find out why i needed that plugin in the first place
    Will close the ticket here now.
