 * Hey there everyone,
 * I got a notification from someone today that when searching google for our site,
   a series of links display in the google search related to dating (the site has
   nothing to do with dating). When visiting one of the links; it’s redirecting
   the user to “your-sexy-dream1 . com”
 * For example: [https://www.google.com/search?q=ksahib&oq=ksahib#q=+site:ksahib.com+ksahib&*](https://www.google.com/search?q=ksahib&oq=ksahib#q=+site:ksahib.com+ksahib&*)

   The 5th link down, Online Dating 50, looks to be a hijacked permalink.
 * I cannot find any posts, pages, categories, or anything similar across our site.
   I went through and updated wordpress to 4.7.3 and all plugins (only activated
   plugins are yoast SEO and shareaholic). I checked the .htaccess file of the blog
   and couldn’t find anything out of place. I downloaded and installed [https://wordpress.org/plugins/exploit-scanner/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/exploit-scanner/)
   which found some “eval” code that it labeled as severe but I couldn’t find anything
   that would redirect those permalinks.
 * What I did was changed the permalink post structure from /%postname%/ to the “
   default” wordpress setting which has effectively “killed” the links. But that
   doesn’t necessarily solve the issue of how they exist in the first place.
 * I reset user passwords for all users, updated everything and deactivated anything
   not necessary. Any help on finding the culprit would be much appreciated!

 * Your website was certainly hacked, this is the Google cache from yesterday –
   [http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:6fDBg_m7xNEJ:ksahib.com/blog/free-ukrainian-dating/+&cd=3&hl=sr&ct=clnk&gl=ba](http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:6fDBg_m7xNEJ:ksahib.com/blog/free-ukrainian-dating/+&cd=3&hl=sr&ct=clnk&gl=ba)

   But that blog post doesn’t exist any longer and Sucuri scan of your website is
   clean.

 * Any idea where I should look to next to find the culprit of all this? I just
   checked the db as well and nothing looks out of place

 * Try to search through the database for “ukrainian” or “dating” or “sex”, from
   phpMyAdmin in cPanel. If you can’t find anything keep an eye on the website using
   Sucuri scanner and check your Google Webmaster Tools for anything unusual.
    As
   a standard advice uninstall unused plugins and themes and keep everything else
   updated. Check your computer for malware as well.
