• I have a few pages in google webmaster tools listed as double content, they don’t have an seo-optimized url, just the language and item-id parameters. They all give the same result, all the blog articles.
    http://www.maartenprovo.be/?lang=nl&Itemid=138

Now, I don’t have any post or page with an ID 138. Infact I can type just about any Itemid I want, it will always return the blog-articles page instead of a 404. How do I get them to return a 404 and be removed from google?

  • Go to the addressbar on this page and type: http://wordpress.org/support/?Itemid=132 (or any other id if you want). You will be taken to the index page of this forum, not a 404. That is just the way it works.
The problem with Google indexing these pages is because somewhere on your site you must have a link that goes to Itemid=138. Find that link and remove it, and in time it will be removed from Google as well.
