non critical suggestion: theme editor

  • I’m taking 2 minutes to write this as I think would be a nice add on for all of us wp theme creators out there. Maybe for wp 3.2 or 4.5, ur call.

    after u edit a template and hit “Update File”, page reloads and a yellow div appears on top saying : “File edited successfully.”

    Wouldn’t it be better that we can see what time it was edited? —-> “File edited successfully at 16:21.”

    and now that we’re into this, why not keep the last edited time per template stored in the database, so when we come back after a day or two, the same yellow div tell us something like “Last Edited: 2011.02.25 / 16:21”

    That’s it..

    P.S. I just realized 3.1 is out, maybe this was added… I’ll update later to check it out
