[Resolved] Noindex Subscription Confirmation… How to do this?

  • I am updated to the latest version of Mailpoet. I am using the Yoast SEO plugin and can make sure Mailpoet pages are excluded from the sitemap.

However, since the confirmation page is auto-generated by the MailPoet plugin and not available to see in our WP dashboard as an actual page, there isn’t a way to automatically add a noindex. I just launched a site this past week and the Mailpoet default subscription confirmation page is already indexed.

How can we noindex this page?

    Thanks!

  • Hello Pgale2,

In order to display the confirmation page from your admin do the following:

    1 – Go to MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Geeky option
2 – Turn on the Debug mode to the mode “Extra Data”
3 – A new menu will show up in your sidebar called “MailPoet Page”

I supposed this should be enough to add the no-index then.

    Cheers!

    Closing it.

3 – A new menu will show up in your sidebar called “MailPoet Page”

In which sidebar? Where exactly? My sidebar has not changed …

Sorry about the confusion, Ben meant “a new menu will show up on your WordPress Dashboard”, not sidebar.
