I have installed the latest version of nofollower on WordPress 3.6.1 and i am using visual composer too. When i make the links nofollow using this plugin, i see the red icon which is the sign on nofollow link. But when i refresh the page, the link is still dofollow!. Please help me.

I've heard this issue a few times over the years so it doesn't seem related to specific WP updates. Whenever I attempt to recreate the issue so I can debug it the plugin works perfectly. I wonder if you have caching interfering, or…I don't know what else. More information would be appreciated because it's impossible to debug without access to the problem website in question.

Ya same here. Set a link to nofollow using nofollowr and refresh page reverts it back to follow. Not working. Whether or not caching is being used, nofollowr should work. So either its not working with current wordpress version or its not working with caching like W3 total cache. Thoughts? Fixes?

I am having problems with the plug in too. When I click the link on the page logged in as admin, 100% of the time I get the error message:

Apologies, but something seems to be amiss. Your link is probably unaltered.

Sometimes it does change the link. most of the time it does not.

The only thing I can use it for is if I manually add the no follow link. Then the plug in will show me that it is no follow. Not a lot of good but something.

I wish I could help you all. @stardaug you mentioned W3 Total Cache - are you using that plugin? If so, do you have "Don't cache pages for logged in users" unchecked? If you click a nofollowr icon then edit the page and go to text view is the nofollow rel attribute altered?

@cspeake your issue seems to be unrelated and would need proper debugging.
