Support » Plugin: WP Store Locator » NoApiKeys – development purposes only

  • Hi there,
    First off…GREAT PLUGIN!!
    But…I’m having an issue on a site and I’m having no luck troubleshooting it. I’m hoping you can point out where I’m going wrong.

    I’ve created a project and enabled maps Javascript APIs.
    I’ve copied and entered the key into the settings page under server key and saved.
    I’ve enabled billing and double-checked payment details.
    I’ve checked the quota and it’s set to no limit on daily requests.

    I really appreciate any help. Thank you!

    WP v4.9.8 | WPSL v.2.2.17

    Here’s the console warning message that I’m getting:

    util.js:224 Google Maps JavaScript API warning: NoApiKeys

    Try to add this code to the functions.php inside your active theme folder.

    add_filter( 'wpsl_gmap_api_params', 'custom_gmap_api_params' );
    function custom_gmap_api_params( $api_params ) {
        $api_params = $api_params .'&key=123';
        return $api_params;

    Replace the 123 with the browser api key.

    What’s the theme you’re using? I have had someone with the same issue a few days ago as well. Any security plugins active?
