    Yeah is looking better…. I agree that user meta data would be a requirement to make this robust and compatible with other plugins.

    Hey y’all,

    This might be a tough one, because usermeta ends up with all kinds of junk in it.

    We’d probably need to blacklist known keys to avoid, and then just dump the rest into 1 big, long metabox. This isn’t very elegant, but because usermeta isn’t registered with any kind of hierarchy, there’s no way to know how to make it prettier.

    Does that make sense? Any other ideas?

    Some support is now built-in for plugins that hook into the profile actions that come bundled with WordPress.

    This doesn’t automatically create fields for user-meta, but it’s something.
