  • Trash plugin. Absolutely no way to remove the stupid “SEO” with their logo from the back-end menu for non-admins and custom user roles. I literally tried everything. The new ridiculous workouts are awful. Disabling all these has no effect:
    wpseo bulk edit x
    wpseo edit advanced metadata x
    wpseo manage options x
    wpseo manage redirects x

Toxic plugin. Over the years, it has become more and more aggressive with its SPAM. Even white label branding for WP can’t remove their crap once and for all. I’m giving this review because I tried for months, and I’m pissed with them.

    Hi @csparrow,

    Thanks for your comment.

We are sorry to hear you’re not satisfied with the Yoast SEO plugin. We understand that you’d like to be able to hide the SEO menu for non-admin users like editors. This is not possible at the moment. We’ll discuss with our developers if we may consider adding a feature to remove the SEO menu completely. In the meantime, you may try the code provided by one of our users here or implement a custom solution to unset menu items, i.e. using the remove_menu_page filter. Hope it helps!
