[resolved] no way to hide border on facebook like box widget (3 posts)

In the jetpack facebook like box widget, there is no option to hide the like box's border.

The iframe api seems to support show_border=false which hides the border.

could you please add an option to the widget to allow user to turn the border on and off from the widget's UI?

    Steps to reproduce:

install likebox widget. note that the frame has a border around it.
edit the iframe src url in object inspector to include "&show_border=false". note that the frame's border is now gone.

Thanks for the suggestion! I created a trac ticket with your idea, and we'll consider adding this feature in a future Jetpack update.

In the meantime, you can create your own Like Box and customize it yourself thanks to the generator here:

We've added the show_border parameter to Jetpack in r722599-plugins. This change will be released with the next version of Jetpack.
