Support » Plugin: User Blocker » No user role = critical error

  • Hi,

If a username has no role on a site and displays in the top list when opening the user blocker page, this plugin creates an critical error. Eighter the page where users can be blocked is completely white and shows only “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” Or the error appears in one of the tabeles behind the username.

How to reproduce: Enable wp debug, remove user role of one of the accounts displayed by default when opening user role editor

How it should be: Ignore users with not role

    Thanks!

    Hi @sanjaydabhoya ,

Thanks for your reply! We currently have around 12k users. There are around 700 with no role on our site (signed up but never confirmed email link). These users are causing the issues as soon as one appears on the user blocker backend pages.

Unfortunately there is no error email message, beacause this error appears only on user blocker pages and not global. What I saw in the table behind a user without role is e.g.:

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /var/www/clients/client1/web80/web/wp-content/plugins/user-blocker/includes/user_blocker_block_users.php on line 1040
