Hi,
Thanks for letting me know about this issue.
Are guest orders? Or there are existing users for the orders?
Let’s try something.
Open the file: /login-as-user/includes/class-w357-login-as-user.php
Find and comment the line 577
// $user_caps['login_as_user'] = (user_can($user->ID, 'edit_user', $args[2]) && ($args[2] !== $user->ID));
Save, upload the file and let me know if now you can see any message or the “Login as User” button now.
Thank you.
Regards,
Yiannis
Thanks for your quick reply! I followed your instructions and commented out that line correctly and uploaded it. It changed from a handful saying “No user exists for this order” to ALL of them saying that. So I undid the fix and reverted back to the original.
Ok, thanks for letting me know.
Can you provide me a screenshot of the order details?
For example, see my screenshot here https://ibb.co/YTGVtZP
The customer is selected. If there is not customer and it was a guest checkout, you cannot login as a user because the user of this order doesn’t exist.
Okay, so it says guest checkout in that spot. Previously, when using the free version of your plugin, I never once saw the message “No user exists for this order” though. I wonder why that is? So, if this is the expected case for a guest checkout, then I guess nothing is broken. Thank you for your help!
You’re very welcome 🙂
Feel free to open a new ticket if you need any other help.
