  • I confirm the issue of edwintam.
Do on two test wp installation. No login ( it seem reloading the wp-login.php instead log in )

Yep, same issue here. I had to rename the plugin folder to be able to access anything in the admin area without being redirected to the login page. (Thanks, edwintam, for the suggestion. I panicked for a minute.)

Yes, after upgrading today, I can’t log in to my website at all.

Can everyone list your WP version. I have done extensive tests without issues.

I’m sorry, I found the bug. I misspelled the return variable in the auth_cookie_expiration which caused a null authentication basically causing the auth time to be around 1 second long.

This is fixed in version 3.0.6.

    Thanks, works great now!

Having upgraded to version 3.0.6, my website is now working fine too, except that I’m still getting the “malicious code” warning from Wordfence. What’s that about?

That is a false positive, but I have removed the file that is causing it and will push up version 3.0.7 which will remove that notice.

If your happy with the plugin I would love a review.

I can’t login right now either. Not sure how to bypass the bug.

I’m not finding that this has been resolved. I suffered from this problem when I installed 3.0.5 yesterday. I updated to 3.0.6 and all was well – for an hour or so. Then the problem recurred – it manifests as a redirect loop.
I upgraded to 3.0.7 and all was well again for about half an hour. Now the problem is back again. I have deactivated the plugin and even uninstalled it. I’ve tried it on three different browsers on two computers and have deleted cookies, but I still can’t log in.

    WordPress 4.1.

@agapanthus Okay, I will look into this again. I am sorry for any issues.

One of my clients had an issue logging in with Custom Login version 3.0.8.1 and WordPress 4.1. Problem was resolved by disabling Custom Login. Will keep an eye open for updates.
