No url in publicize

    Hi, I use the publicize to share new articles on Facebook but I’d like to remove the URL from the status message. I want only the title appear there. Is it possible?

    I tried modifing “wpas_default_message” to show only title but it still showed the url at the end and I couldn’t find an answer to my question.

    The URL is automatically removed on Facebook Profiles, but I’m afraid you won’t be able to remove it when posting to Facebook Pages; we haven’t found a way around that yet, as Facebook doesn’t offer the same API options when posting to Pages or Profiles.

    It’s on our roadmap though, and as soon as it becomes possible we’ll make updates to Facebook Pages look as good as on Facebook Profiles. That includes removing the URL from the shared message!

    I hope this clarifies things a bit.
