    Hi there!

The theme Confit should work correctly with the Block Editor as well as Classic Editor so could you tell us more details about the issue and how you solved it?

If we know your exact setup and steps you took we’ll be able to test it and, if we find a bug in the theme, we could report it.

    Thanks!

    Hey!

Indeed Confit worked without any problems until the upgrade to 5.2.4. Then the Error “Aktualisieren fehlgeschlagen” appeared. Unfortunately WordPress is not very talkative, so I tried to find out, where the problem is. I installed Error Log Monitor, Healthcheck and Error Log Viewer, but I got no entries into the log files and no hint what may have happened. So I tried it with Classic Editor – and it worked. Indeed this is not very helpful, I think, but I have no other error messages.

Plugins installed and active: Akismet, BackwPup, ChildTheme Configurator, Classiv Editor, Contact Form 7, Google Analytics for WP by MonsterInsights, Wordfence Security, WP Power Stats, Yoast SEO.

    Do you need other information?

    Greetings πŸ™‚

It actually sounds like a local, probably browser-realted issue. If you go back to using Block Editor, does the issue appear again?

Indeed the issue is gone now!

After returning to the Block Editor, it is possible to edit the page and get it updated.

Yay! As I wrote, it was most probably browser-related. In case it happens again, try clearing the browser’s cache as a first step.

Clearing the cache was the first step I took. Okay. But the main thing is: It works πŸ™‚ Sometimes the browser also makes a difference – Firefox is sometimes not the best browser when it comes to webdesign with WordPress. But in this case, not even Chromium worked. See ya πŸ™‚
