Hi @irenepv,
Sorry to hear you’re having issues. Do you see other errors aside from that?
Can you try the following for us?
– Temporarily deactivate your third-party plugins except for Popup Maker and switch the theme to a default WordPress theme.
– (Note: Please also deactivate any security plugin that can also cause to block loading the files from Popup Maker)
– Clear out any browser, WordPress, server, database, and CDN caches you have.
Let us know how it goes.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Actually, the plugin works and I managed to create a popup as you can see on the website http://www.esturiontours.com.
But when I open the plugin to edit, after a few seconds, I get a “Connection lost” warning. What I have been doing is to make the change and refresh quickly and then refresh the page so I can make another change. It’s been a difficult task but I needed to create the popup and I couldn’t see any other solution.
I would like to be able to fix it so I can use the plugin normally in the future.
I have deactivated some plugins and cleared the WordPress cache but that was not enough.

Hi @irenepv,
A connection lost issue is usually related to your server setup.
Here’s an article we found that could help: https://webhostingadvices.com/wordpress-connection-lost/
Have you reached out to your hosting provider regarding this issue?
