• this plugin does not uninstall itself (apart from deleting its files) and you will end up with an almighty mess in your options table…

(honestly, apart from using 28 or so separate rows in your options table – ever heard of serializing ? – it also uses option names like “thumb_width” “thumb_height” etc . no prefixes to identify what these options belong to – barring a few – so the chances are they will at some point get seriously messed up….)

    just stay clear of this

  • Thank you for this. I usually take 1 star reviews with a HUGE grain of salt, but yours is spot on. Plugins that don’t clean up after themselves at uninstall and clobber the wp_options table like this (especially with non-prefixed option names) hurt everyone. That’s just plain sloppy…

I would love to see the devs respond to this and acknowledge these issues and when they might be fixed.

    Thanks!

    you’re welcome

the irony is that woocommerce itself adds over 100 separate options to that table, but at least they are prefixed and *might* delete themselves on uninstall – although I haven’t tested this

given that this review was written about a month ago without any acknowledgement i hazard a guess the answer to that is “never”…..oh well

This seems to have been fixed as of the newest version I have installed (1.2.5.6) – just a heads up
