    Hi there,

I’m following your instructions to make changes to how links look like, or include the tweet bird, and there’s no way of doing anything.

I don’t know if I’m using the editor correctly (think I do) or there’s any kind of problem with the configuration, the editor page appears as ‘inactive’.

I would really appreciate a bit of help 🙂 Thanks!

    Hi Sara,

Hmmmm….can you access any options at all? Is there a Settings > Inline Tweet Sharer menu present?

My guess is that you are not an administrator of the blog in question, but are a user instead. The configuration options require you to be an administrator.

Hope that puts you in the right direction.

    Hi Rhys!

I am the administrator! Hahaha And that menu is there… That’s the strange thing, I cannot figure out what’s happening :S

Hope you have something in mind…

Is it not displaying correctly on the front end? What does a tweetable link look like? Do you have a site I can take a look at.

Is the “Mark Twitter Links” box ticked here? https://winwar.co.uk/documentation/inline-tweet-sharer/#2

So if I mark that box the bird appears…but I don’t want the link looking in that way 🙁

I would like to change the colour of the text, no grey background, no underlined, and bird included; but doesn’t allow me to make changes of any kind.

Hmmmmm…..it’s not something I’ve given much thought I’d say. Usually it’s one of the other.

You can do it via CSS, but it’s something I’m unkeen in getting involved in, as generally I don’t support CSS changes.

Let me see if I can throw together more options. It may be a little time to integrate though.
