Support » Plugin: Koko Analytics » No traffic: $_GET in maybe_collect_request is empty

  • Resolved jvkweb

Hallo I’ve the problem fixed to the point that in the maybe_collect_request function the $_GET is an empty Array. The function get called though.

My WP is in a subdirectory and I tried the define( ‘KOKO_ANALYTICS_USE_CUSTOM_ENDPOINT’, false ); fix.

Also you have two different ways to get to the pageviews.php: first defined with subdirectory ‘uploads’ as a fix entry. And sec the call of wp_upload_dir( null, false ); witch brings sometimes a different dir like ‘images’ (userdefined).

    Hopfully you can help.
    Best Janek

    Hello @jvkweb,

Do you still have the Koko Analytics plugin active on your website? I would like to take a look at the tracking request but I am not seeing it on your website right now.

    Thank you.

Hy Danny, KoKo is still active. I found out that I have to enable the footerhook. It is now but the $_GET is still empty.

    Best, Janek

    Hello @jvkweb,

Thank you, I see the tracking request now. It looks okay to me, the GET parameters are properly included in the URL:

This must mean that some other piece of code is emptying / modifying the global $_GET variable before Koko gets a chance to look at it. Can you try deactivating all other plugins and seeing if that works? If so, you can re-activate them one by one until you find the offending plugin.

I hope that helps. If not, let us know please.
