 * Hi,
    I started using WPO recently. No bloat, fairly clean interface, and so far,
   it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’m becoming a fan.
 * However, it seems WPO automatically adds .htaccess rules for GZIP and Cache Expiry
   which ends up creating duplicates / conflicts on some hosts who deploy preset
   rules for those things. Moreover, some projects require manual adjustments to
   some of the rules.
 * Unless I’m missing something, I don’t see an option to toggle the settings. It
   just says “Enabled” with a check mark next to it. If there is no such option,
   I’d like to make a feature request for enabling / disabling GZIP and Cache Expiry
   rules.
 * Thanks & regards,
    Sanju

 * If you click on Enabled button, it will toggle the option and disable the GZIP
   settings.

 * There is no button for either GZIP or Cache Expiry.
 * EDIT:
    Here’s what I see for GZIP settings: [https://www.dropbox.com/s/hgmozplorm53u3b/wpo_no_gzip_toggle.png?dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/s/hgmozplorm53u3b/wpo_no_gzip_toggle.png?dl=0)

 * [@sanjupanikkar](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sanjupanikkar/) I see you
   don’t have enable button there, you should see the button like this:
    [https://www.dropbox.com/s/pr57dfl5q1sops8/Screenshot%20at%20Dec%2030%2018-59-51.png?dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/s/pr57dfl5q1sops8/Screenshot%20at%20Dec%2030%2018-59-51.png?dl=0)
 * Can you please try to remove the GZip rules from .htaccess file and check if
   there’s enable button there?
