[resolved] No Title In Google News Feed (3 posts)

Sometimes, my Google News feeds do not include the title of an article. I'm not sure why this happens, but it appears to happen occasionally for both Atom and RSS 2.0 feeds. When that happens, feedwordpress defaults the WordPress post title
of the article to the Google search parameters plus the date. So, for example, the title of the articles will start to appear as '"President Obama" AND "government trust" - Google News 2013-02-19 08:21:15' with only the date varying.

I'm not sure why this happens. If the reason is because there is no title, could you add an option like: "With no title use this as the default ____________ ". Or if the Google News feed is sending that as the title, could you possibly recognize it (by searching for "Google News" in the title and again offer an option like: "With Google News in title, use this as the default ________________". I think most site owners would prefer not to expose the parameters of their google search.

Actually, this was my error. I wasn't looking closely at the Apache error logs. The DOM PHP extension was missing on this new Apache install. All is well.
