No Thumbnail of Post Video on Blog Page

I have added on post with a video.
The video shows on the Post itself, but not as a thumbnail on the News Page (our Blog page).

My expectation is that it would be like the sample page I see here, where the video shows up on both the blog page and the individual post.
We’re using the a theme called Bivio.
I’ve placed the shortcode on the text of the page [featured-video-plus]

Also, how do I change the size of the video as it appears in the post? But the thumbnail size can state small.

I found this in the FAQ documentation for this plugin:
Why does the frontend still display the featured image although I added a featured video to the post?
Sadly not all themes work out of the box. Themes need to make use of WordPress’ native Post Thumbnail functionality (specifically get_the_post_thumbnail() and/or the_post_thumbnail()) – these functions are where the plugin can hook into the theme and modify what is displayed. Consider contacting the theme’s creator or modifying the theme’s sourcecode in order to add the plugin’s PHP-functions.You may have to get a developer to implement a code change in a child theme for it to function correctly in the theme by showing the video on your all posts page, as well as your single post page.
