No text in Dashboard Menue after 3.4.2 update

    Hi,

    I update wp from 3.4.1 to 3.4.2 and now I have no text in some menue entry in dashboard left menue.

    I deactivate all my plugins but this is no solution for my problem.
    New upload of all wordpress 3.4.2 files also not.

    What’s the problem?

    PHP Version : 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.25
    PHP Safe Mode : Aus

    Graphic settings:
    GD Version: 2.0 or higher
    Freetype support: Yes
    Freetype support: with freetype
    PNG support: Yes

    do you have a backup? don’t ever do a wordpress upgrade without performing a backup first. You have no way of knowing if all your plugins and your theme are compatible with this new version of WordPress. This can be also an incompatibility issue with your theme. it’s not always the plugins fault 🙂 try to change the theme to twenty eleven or something like that and see if that solves your problem.

    I upload the WordPress files again with another ftp client and now works WP 3.4.2 fine here.
