No test displayed, so I'm locked out of my admin page.

    It worked well enough for my contact form, but when the damned WP cookie expired, forcing me to log in, again, there is no text displayed in the Type/Enter: box for me to type. Hence, I’m locked out of my own site.

    How do I get around this so I can log into my site and give this plugin the deep six?

    Hi,

    1) Please re-login into your site using the standard way. It is not clear enough what exactly is not displayed.
    2) You can deactivate the plugin via ftp or cpanel by renaming the folder with the plugin. With your FTP program or via Сpanel go to the folder wp-content/plugins and rename or remove the folder captcha. Please make use of the following information: http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients
