# No template dropdown menu?

 * Using Custom Post Type UI, I created a custom post type. I set the Capability
   Type to ‘page’. When I edit one of my custom post type, I would expect to see
   a dropdown for Page Template, like in a classic post type page, but I don’t. 
   Where did I go wrong?

 * I believe the capability type setting relates to user capabilities for the post
   type, not post type features.
 * This is untested, but you could check out [http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-page-template/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-page-template/)
   and I wager there are other plugins that do similar things.
