Opened up a ticket on this on Friday night. Of course, no support from these guys whatsoever.

    Problem #1:
Load times are drastically higher than on whmcs itself when using WP (which we should be doing) to access everything.

WHMCS by itself? 2s load time (less with the flattern theme actually)
WP-WHMCS bridge? 18s with the flattern theme, much more with ‘six’.

It looks like this plugin kills server resources. I count no less than 20 php processes on a site that’s not even live yet and htaccess protected, for each and every page load. Just one load!!!

    Problem #2:
They’re adding slashes when tickets are submitted via their bridge (again, all access should be through this bridge, it’s what clients want, what they pay for). Tickets come out looking like a mess. Even happens on their own site.

I find it hard to believe that these people are ‘professionals’ at all here. I mean, wow. I want to like this software, really, it’s perfect for keeping everything nice and neat, but this is hardly professional by any means, and not responding to tickets for days…. really?!?!?

Finally got an ‘update’, basically shrugging off what I’d said, pointing me to a FAQ, blaming everything on something else. Typical lazy development.
DAYS to get a response, and it’s pretty much ‘yeah, no, not our problem’.
Don’t waste your time with these guys.

Where was that exactly? On the author’s site?

Just to level set your expectations: I’m sorry you’re having a bad time of it but as a free user of this plugin, you’re not entitled to a reply.

It’s fantastic when the authors do provide unpaid volunteer support on their own time, out of the goodness of their heart. But that’s always been optional.

Now if you’re a customer of this author and not user of the open source plugin, then posting here isn’t appropriate. The author isn’t permitted to support their paid customers in these forums.
