No support for PHP version 8.0 or later

    You can test it on the playground here with PHP 8.3. It seems to work fine: https://playground.wordpress.net/?plugin=login-or-logout-menu-item&theme=twentytwelve

    However, if your theme is Block Editor enabled, then it does not currently support that unfortunately.

    Thank’s for clearifying. That’s way it don’t work. I’m using a theme that uses block editing.

    @henhed I released vs 1.3.0 with support for Navigation Block

    1. Add or edit a Navigation block on your page or in the Site Editor
    2. Click the (+) to add a new link
    3. In the search field, type “login” or “logout”
    4. Select “Login|Logout” from the suggestions
    5. The link will automatically show “Login” to logged-out users and “Logout” to logged-in users
