No support, deceptive claims

    The plugin ad copy claims that if you connect your account at their company to the plugin, you’ll get five buttons. But what they don’t tell you is that the buttons can’t appear on the same page (unless you pay). That’s deceptive. My support inquiry has gone unanswered now for about a week. Look into “tel:” and “skype:” and “signal.me:” links a little and you’ll find you can make your own buttons easily within WordPress.

    I am so sorry. We’re running this business with just two people and my co-founder is out on holidays at the moment. I did see your message come in but it fell off my radar. I do apologise for this.

    With regards to your question, I would love to be able to give everything away for free, but we can’t support our families without an income. A lot of work goes into making this software. Without signing up you have exactly what the plugin title promises: A Call Now Button. When you signup, you get additional actions besides just phone and you get the ability to create more than 1 button. Adding multiple buttons to a single page is indeed a Pro feature. But I don’t think we are misleading about that anywhere.

    As with a lot of plugins, you could build everything yourself, but you’re getting convenience. Giving one star because you’re expecting a higher level of support for a free service seems unfair. And while I am trying to stay professional on a personal level this is hurtful and feels like a massive punch in the face.
