no sub menus in header navigation

    Menus with sub-menu items do not show those sub menu items when set to appear in Header Bar Navigation. Why is this and how can I change this behavior?

    It’s not a common behaviour to put sub menu items in the header bar navigation. The header bar (or top navigation) is generally short and mostly used as a utility menu.

    That said, if you need to do this, you would have to create a child theme (maybe you already use one), and change the template file accordingly.
