• Hello
When I click on the main category on the homepage it should go through and show images of the three subcategories which each have products in them, but the subcategories don’t show up it just goes through to one page with all the products mixed.

I am using Yoast SEO and not sure it it one of the settings in woocommerce or WordPress SEO that I have changed that is doing this.

When I click on one of the products on the mixed page the sub category shows in the breadcrumb – when I then click on the subcategory link in the breadcrumb it takes me to the correct subcategory.

I hope you understand the subabove as it seems a bit confusing!!

If anybody can help, that would be great.
    Thanks

Edit the main category – see if the display mode is set to display ‘both’ and not just products.

    Hello
Thank you but this didn’t work for me. I have checked and the three subcategories are set to both.

I only have a couple of categories with sub categories and both are not showing correctly.

I just can’t find what is wrong, if it is something I have done or something else.

I took out ‘Category’ in the url perhaps it is something to do with that – this shouldn’t change how it works it should just hide it.

The parent’s option needs setting, not the subcategories.

If it’s still not working, check with a default WordPress theme.
