Can’t translate the section of 6. Placed cookies, there are no strings. Searched the .pot file.

    Cookie description:
Can’t translate marketing/tracking, preferences, statistics, statistics (anonymous) from dropdown list.

And everything under “services type” dropdown in Service description tab: “display of webfonts, etc…”

These strings are not hard coded in the php code, as they are dynamic strings. They are therefore translated on cookiedatabase.org, and not part of the pot file.

It is possible to translate using string translation, using WPML.

    Hi @bbzbelenkas,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, was the solution my colleague provided helpful? We are happy to help you further.

    Kind regards, Kim van Dijk

WPML brakes my site, Translatepress is way better. Still haven’t found a solution.

It would be great if we could choose from a drop down provided by complianz plugin with the strings in the pot file instead of using the dynamically generated dropdown from another site, not really much sense.

    Hi @bbzbelenkas,

The texts/translations this concerns are pulled from CookieDatabase. It concerns dynamic strings which are therefore not included in the .po/.pot localization files.

If TranslatePress supports String Translation functionality, such as in WPML and PolyLang, you can use use that feature to translate these texts manually.

    Hope it helps/clarifies.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
