I had a white screen and after disabling plugins and themes via ftp and re-enabling them I got control of my site again and all is working OK except the site is no longer collecting stats.
When I open WP statistics there is no data showing at all and there is no menu of statics options.

Can you check your Statistics->Settings->Exclusions tab and see what options are selected?

    Hi Greg

    Nothing selected

Can you also check the Statistics->General page and make sure that Visits/Visitors/etc. collection is enabled?

All the obvious ones are marked as active

    Hi Greg,

I have a similar problem. A while now there are no stats collecting.
Your suggestions above I gave it a try, but no result.
Didn’t have major problem with my site and GA works fine.

Running WP 4.6.1 and WP Statistics 11.0.2.

Btw, I also run Clicky. Somehow this also does not work anymore.
I try to find out why.

    Thanks.

Looking again at the statistics tabs I see the following on the optimization tab:

    File Info
GeoIP Database: Database file does not exist.

The file size and date of the GeoIP database.
browscap.ini File: browscap.ini file does not exist.

The file size and date of the browscap.ini file.
browscap Cache File: browscap cache file does not exist.

The file size and date of the browscap cache file

Is this central to the problem, if so how do I force the plugin to create these files.

    Plugin Contributor Greg Ross

    (@gregross)

No, those files are only downloaded if you have enabled GeoIP or the Browscap options (in the Externals tab).

Can you enabled exclusion tracking and see what the results are?

I have enabled exclusion tracking, where will I see the results?

    Plugin Contributor Greg Ross

    (@gregross)

There will be a new menu option, Statistics->Exclusions.

    The only menu options are:
    Overview
    Optimisation
    Settings
    Donate
    Manual

If I open Overview all I see is ‘about WP statistics Version 11.0.3’ and a logo.

Can you verify that visit/visitor/etc tracking is enabled in the settings page?

As far as I know they are all enabled.

I’ve uploaded a screen grab of the settings to https://www.dropbox.com/s/zta6uget34p34a9/WP_stats.png?dl=0

All of your options are not enabled, check the “Active” checkboxes in each section.
