Regarding that you can get an almost full featured version for free, I think it isn’t too much effort 😉

Yeaup! I’m not hating on that aspect…I’m just sick of spam and don’t have time to figure who’s gonna be ethical with my email and who won’t. Either way, I’ve tried the plugin and loved it. Left raving reviews on a big FB group (successfully converting dozens of users in 24 hours), also on slack channel, and also here, of course. Would like to personally thank whoever made this happen. 5 stars well deserved! 😀
Also as an EU company, from May you will have to comply with GDPR and sending marketing emails requires explicit consent freely given, and providing a service only on giving consent isn’t freely given. ( according to the experts – I’m not one of them ). So whilst you can ask for emails – you will have to give a clear yes/no option for marketing consent and not disadvantage those that give ‘no’.
