No Side Menu on Pages

    Hi guys,

    Sorry if this is in the wrong area, this is my first time posting.

    Basically, I’ve been building a site http://www.appedia.co.uk and would like the first page to be a static page telling people how to use the site. However, a key part of the site is the search bar and the categories menu but they won’t appear on any pages at all, just on posts.

    I’ve selected them to show on posts and pages in the customize theme section and it’s not working. I’ve also tried deactivating all plugins so I have no idea what do to. I’m not knowledgeable at all about code so I’m pulling my hair out at the moment!

    Any help would be hugely appreciated.

    Yea, I’m finding unexpected results when toying with Customize > Sidebar too.

    I was able to get a sidebar working though. Try these steps:

    1. Customize > Sidebar
    2. Posts Page: On
    3. Single Page: Off
    4. Customize > Static Front Page
    5. A Static Page
    6. Front Page: UNSELECTED!!
    7. Posts Page: Your Chosen Custom Front Page

    I just added show/hide sidebar setting for Pages on Customizer. Please update theme to the latest version (1.0.7).
