Hi, I am trying to add a shortcode to my popup, in order to make it show a newsmail subscrition form.

Whenever I try adding the shortcode, I get this response:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/www/juicyblogs.dk/wp-includes/functions.php:1465) in /home/www/juicyblogs.dk/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1167

When I replace the shortcode with “test”, it works fine.

    What to do?

    Hi aztrid,

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂

Shortcodes should be working fine withing the popup so there’s probably some kind of conflict here causing the issue.

Can you tell me which plugin you are using and what’s the exact shortcode so I could test this on my end and see what’s going on?

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hi again,

thank you and you too 🙂

I am using WordPress PopUp – Popover Maker, and the shortcode I am trying to implement is from the plugin Email Subscribers Advanced Form.

    Best regards,

    Hi aztrid,

Thanks for the additional info, I did some testing and it looks like it should work by changing popup loading method.

Can you go to Popup > Settings and try changing loading method to Page Footer and see if it loads after that?

    Cheers,
    Predrag
