    Greetings.

I’ve downloaded and installed the free version to make sure it works before we purchase the paid version.

The “Knowledge Base” shortcode button does not show up next to the “Add Media” button in the page editor. I have the Divi theme installed, but have divi turned off in the page and am using the standard WordPress editor.

I have not yet updated to WordPress 5 – am running version 4.9.10.

Any advice you can offer would be very welcome, as we otherwise like your plugin.

    Thank you.

    Hi @larrylef,

the shortcode editor is available only in the Premium version and is not necessary to build the KB. It allows you to list some KB articles outside of the KB like in posts or pages if needed to direct visitors to the KB.
Also it was moved to its own dedicated page for better compatibility with all WordPress editors. I’ll update the documentation!

That being said you just need to add a single shortcode [basepress] to a page for the knowledge base and select that page in BasePress settings.

You can find a small manual under BasePress menu to get started but if you need any help to get started you can contact me at support(at)8bitsinarow(dot)com

    Thanks
