    Hi,
I’ve downloaded the plugin and installed and activated. I only get one thing on the settings page:

    MyBB Path /forum/

Which I can’t change. Nothing else shows on the page.

And, in your instructions, No.1 says to install MyPress on MyBB first. What does that mean?

    Help would be appreciated.

Can you provide a screenshot of the settings which you can’t edit? Thanks.

PS: I updated the description with the link of MyBB Plugin. I was waiting the official approval from MyBB, but they are really slow ( I submitted it about 1 month ago ).

Can we get an update on this, and the other support thread I started?

That is all I have on the Settings Page. It gives no information as to whether or not I need to point to the FTP location, whether or not I need to make sure the Database is readable by the plugin, or anything.

Can we get some support on this, as myBB is going to potentially be the foundation of our community software, and this plugin could make that happen!

Alec Weekes’ screenshot is exactly the same as mine.

    Hi guys,
yes, that field is the only one in WordPress.
You need to write the path to your MyBB folder (ex: / or /forum/) and the plugin will read the DB settings from the settings of the forum.

But before install this plugin you have to install the plugin MyPress in MyBB (link in the description).

    Regards

There is no “Save” button though on my page. I add it, and nothing happens.

Yes, no save button for me either. And when I try to change the default /forum/ to /mybb/ and push the enter key it reverts back to /forum/

Where is this information being stored? My site structure is as follows:

    http://mysite/wordpress and http://mysite/mybb/

So I have put the forum path as ../mybb/ That still didn’t work.

I think there needs to be more instructions, etc for this plugin.

    thanks

    Hi,
    thanks. I’ll check tomorrow.
What is your version of WordPress?

    Thread Starter Peter

    (@hardpeter4u)

    WordPress version is 4.5.1

    Likewise.

    Hello,
    check out new version: https://wordpress.org/plugins/my-press/.

    Keep me updated.

    Hi,
Tried the new plugin and get this error:

    Error loading WordPress.
    File not found: config.php.
    Path: C:/wamp/www//forum/inc/config.php

    It should be Path: C:/wamp/www/mybb/inc/config.php

It seems like /forum/ is hardcoded somewhere.

    (@hardpeter4u)

Ok, got it to work. I had updated the php file before logging in to my site which was the problem. Logged in then updated and it’s all working now. Saved the path correctly!!

    Thanks!!

    Hi Peter,
where is hardcoded in the file?

The following line is only for default value.

    $mybb_path = ( is_dir( $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] .'/forum' ) ? '/forum/' : '' );

    Thank you.
