# No settings to change appearance

 * I’ve activated the plug in and I’m able to view PDFs now directly in WP. But 
   there is no option to change the defaul appear. Your site says:
    _“You can change
   the default appearance – e.g. width, and toolbar position/appearance through 
   Settings -> PDF Embedder.”_
 * But this is not true on my site. I’ve got the free version but there is no “PDF
   Embedder” option under Settings. 🙁 So there is very little option to change 
   the appearance.

 * Thank you for getting in touch.
 * The possibilities are:
 * 1. You have a multisite installation, in which case the options will only appear
   in the network admin panel. Ideally it will be ‘Network Activated’ instead of
   activated on individual subsites.
 * 2. You don’t have the full permissions in your user account to view the settings.
