No SEPA-Button (ELV, direct debit) button visible when German (formal) is active

    Hi there,

    I have a strange problem: If I change the language in WordPress from German to German (formally), only the “normal” Paypal button is visible. Before there was an additional silver button to pay by SEPA direct debit. If I put the language back, the button appears again.

    Also some translations don’t work anymore. For example, the “normal” Paypal checkout button now says “Buy now” rather than “Jetzt kaufen”.

    I have Woocommerce 3.8 (latest version) and the latest WordPress version. Also the Flatsome-Theme is installed.
