    Hi there, just installed this, it’s pretty awesome I agree. But, you cannot give the new image a name and it saves as untitled…

    Either, it should give you the option to overwrite the source image, and or you should be able to give the new image a name.

    I think this is a basic requirement of this editor.

    I’ve been thinking about this and over-write is dangerous on a multi-user site unless you have role based security making sure the author is overwriting their own images.

    I think you should definitely look into adding role based security, edit_own_image, edit_Others_Image plus a couple of other options would be very handy for multi-user sites, another one would be Use_Enhanced_Editor so the admin can choose who can use the editor, who can edit others images and who can edit just their own.

    Its not going to be implemented in this plugin, sorry.
    What you can do is use an existing plugin that allows you to rename media files like:
